This policy explains what we collect when you use this site or send us an enquiry, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It covers nummero.com and the pages linked from it.

Who we are
Nummero is a data company based in Bengaluru, India. We publish the Nummero Verification Standard, supply verified datasets to AI labs, and help organisations license the data they hold. We are the party responsible for the information described here.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information.
What you send us. When you use the request or licensing forms, or write to us, we receive your name, work email address, organisation, and whatever you tell us about the requirement or the data you hold — capability, domain, scale, format, and any files or repository details you attach.
What the site records. Like most websites, our host records basic technical details for each visit — IP address, browser and device type, the page you arrived from, and the time of the request — so we can keep the site running and detect abuse.
Why we collect it
- — To reply to your enquiry and work out whether we can meet the requirement.
- — To prepare a sample, a measurement, or a commercial proposal.
- — To run a relationship that begins: contracting, delivery, invoicing, and support.
- — To keep the site secure and to understand which pages are useful.
We ask only for what those purposes need. If we need something further, we ask for it directly rather than inferring it.
What we do not do
- — We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
- — We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts on this site.
- — We do not collect payment card details through this site.
One exception is worth stating plainly: this site loads its web fonts from Google Fonts. As part of that request, your browser's IP address is visible to Google. We have judged that trade-off worth the typography, and we disclose it rather than bury it.
Who we share it with
We share information with the suppliers who help us operate — hosting, email delivery, storage and search — and they process it on our instructions, not for their own purposes. We may also disclose it to professional advisers, to a buyer or a data owner where disclosure is needed to progress a deal you have asked us to progress, where you have told us to, or where we are required to by law.
If you offer data to us for licensing, the description of that data — its scope, provenance, and how it measured against the standard — may be shown to prospective buyers. We do not share your contact details with a buyer without telling you first.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records stay while we are in contact and for a period afterwards so we can follow up sensibly. If a commercial relationship begins, we keep what the contract and our obligations require for the life of that contract and afterwards as law requires. Records with no purpose left are deleted rather than archived indefinitely.
How we protect it
Access is limited to the people who need it for the work, traffic is encrypted in transit, and we review what we store rather than keeping everything forever. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security — we promise proportionate care and prompt notice if something goes wrong.
Your choices
You can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete it, or stop contacting you. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have these rights as a data principal; if you write to us from the EU, the UK or California we will handle the request in the same way regardless.
Email sales@nummero.com and we will respond within thirty days. Where a request conflicts with a legal obligation, we will explain what we cannot do and why.
Where it is processed
Information is stored and processed primarily in India. Where a supplier processes it outside India, we rely on that supplier's contractual and technical safeguards for the transfer.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us data, tell us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change materially we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Continued use of the site after an update means the updated policy applies.
